Erica Lyndzey Yates

Erica Yates grew up in a small town near Louisville, Kentucky. The sweet, sassy, spitfire, always knew she was headed for New York City to fulfill her dreams of becoming an actress and a singer. Her education began at a young age, as her father would read her Shakespeare, Williams and O'Neal and take her to the theatre every chance he had. As she watched the plays come to life, she was overwhelmed with emotion and the sense of knowing that this was the only thing she could. She attended high school at Carver Center for the Arts where she was thrust into the wonderful world of theatre. She attended college at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. She continued her studies at the New Actors Workshop, The New School and a summer improv intensive with Paul Sills. She is a perpetual student of the arts, continuously fine tuning her skills.

Her film and television credits include "The Doritos Mash Up," "Leave Me Behind," "Cry Wolf," and "Bayliner Boats National Campaign." Her theatre credits include "Divinity Bash Nine Lives," "Antigony," "Evita," "Scenes and Revelations," "Uncommon Women," "Street Scene" and "Into the Woods."

Erica is currently directing, producing and starring in "Fool for Love" by Sam Shepard which is due to go up in February 08'.
