Janina Anderson
SAG
Janina Anderson is Welsh/Italian and grew up in the seaside town of Porthcawl in the UK. Her love for the theatre started early, when she joined the Vagabond Theatre at age seven. After performing there until she was thirteen, she went on to star as Annie in "Annie," Baby Jane in "Gypsy," Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," Cecily in "The Importance of Being Earnest," and as Lily in "Under Milkwood," all of which performed at The Grand Pavilion in Wales. By fifteen, she had gone on tour with the Welsh National Opera Company in their nationwide production of Carmen, and from there the ball started rolling.
Janina has since hosted two seasons of her own teen magazine show "The Gen." Maturing into an adult actress, she landed a string of series regular roles on such British shows as "Tiger Bay," "London's Burning," "Nuts and Boltz," "Is Harry on the Boat?" and a long-running role on the prime time hit "Casualty." She also starred in the Miramax film "Human Traffic." After ten years of consistent work in the UK, Janina has rooted herself on this side of the pond, and she is ready for action!
