Alex Petrovitch

Alex Petrovitch is a Brazilian-American actor hailing from Washington D.C. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in International Relations, but spent the year after graduation in New York studying with NYU's Stella Adler Conservatory. After a harsh winter and a sweltering summer on the East Coast, Alex took his acting career to Hollywood. There he began his study with the Eric Morris Studio and joined Tim Robbins' theater group The Actors' Gang.
Since arriving in Los Angeles, Alex has booked recurring roles on "Lost," "General Hospital," "Passions" and "The Bold and the Beautiful." He has appeared in over ten independent features including Lionsgate's "Bled" and "American Cowslip," starring Val Kilmer. His credits also include the short film "7th and Hill," which was accepted into the Cannes Film Festival.
In addition to acting, Alex is a huge outdoors enthusiast. He's an avid mountain biker, soccer player, extreme skier and snowboarder. Most recently, he took up surfing while shooting "Lost" in Hawaii.
Alex currently lives in the Hollywood area, returning periodically to the East Coast to visit his family.
