Andy Campbell

Andy Campbell is currently one of the hosts of the national television morning news show called "The Daily Buzz." "The Buzz" is an entertaining twist on the standard morning show, offering "news delivered with personality." The show is a live three hour broadcast that airs weekday mornings in over 150 markets nationwide.

Andy made his name on the stages of the nation's comedy circuit. He has performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal and headlined countless comedy clubs across North America. Andy has been featured on "Comcast Comedy Spotlight" and on AMC's "Date Night." He was also a host on two TV series "Talk Show TV" on the Comcast Network, and the youth-oriented educational series "Standard Deviants" which aired nationally on PBS. Barely two years into his career in 1999, Andy won the mid-Atlantic finals for the Aspen Comedy Arts Festival in Washington, DC.

Andy's commanding stage presence, charisma, infectious energy, and spontaneous wit have made him a regular on stages of New York City's top comedy clubs and favorite headliner at dozens of venues nationwide.

Andy's brand of comedy, though difficult to put into words, is grounded in the presence and poise of a man with over two decades of experience - starting at age 5 - in the performing arts. He blends an excellent sense of physical comedy with a bevy of keen cultural observations by combining a charming, youthful energy with an intelligent perspective. Andy creates vivid characters throughout his act, and often displays his knack for genuine spontaneity and improvisation. In short, he's a crowd pleaser – with an ability to transform any crowd into an energized, belly-clutching bunch of instant fans.

Apparent in Andy's stand-up is the fact that he is a veteran stage actor. He also boasts television and video experience, several published humor writings, and "absolutely no underwear modeling credits."

For over four years, Andy was a regularly featured comedic commentator on Washington, DC's National Public Radio affiliate. He was also once a contributing writer for the nationally touring comedy troupe, the Capitol Steps. He holds a degree in broadcast communications and theater from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, and has trained in Los Angeles with the Second City improvisation program.

Andy currently resides in Orlando, Florida.

Currently one of the hosts of "The Daily Buzz" syndicated.
