Andrew Kennedy
SAG/AFTRA
Andrew Kennedy was born in Bogota, Colombia and spent most of his formative years in South America, the Caribbean and the Far East. His mother is Colombian and father British, neither of who could understand the other. This helped Andrew and his brothers to become fluent in both English and Spanish.
By the time he was thirteen, Andrew had lived in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Hong Kong, the United States, returned once more to Venezuela, and then finally settled in New Canaan, Connecticut (his father got fired a lot). He joined the National Guard his junior year in high school and, at seventeen, was the youngest in his battalion at Fort Sill Oklahoma, were he learned from drill sergeant Diaz that he couldn't "take it all back..." He finished basic training, something his father credits to straightening him out. He then went off to complete college and decided to use his degree in Managerial Communications to become a comedian and not make any money for a very, very long time. He did however, get to make fun of drill Sergeant Diaz, something that hopefully won't come back to haunt him if they ever open up a Funny Bone in Lawton, Oklahoma!
Andrew has continued to travel the world as a successful comedian and has been voted one of the top twenty comedians on Comedy Central two years in a row. Andrew also developed, produced and starred in his own television pilot for CBS, all the while, raising three non-dysfunctional children with his wife Amy and their Golden/Labrador Retriever and part St Bernard, Sampson.
His greatest accomplishments are yet to come!
