Brett Maline is a Los Angeles based, multi-hyphenate, award-winning disabled actor/writer/director. He fancies himself as a niche dude from a small farming town in south central Nebraska, born with a rare form of severe scoliosis. 

 

With recent appearances on NBC and Disney, he’s developing his half hour comedy with Jenn Gerstenblatt and Glenn Adilman at Sony television, supervised by Dayna Lynne North. The TV show is based on his award-winning short pilot film Hypocrite. Recently staffed in the room for a Marvel TV show, Brett is a former cast member of the 2016 CBS Diversity Showcase, UCB house sketch team veteran, and a Groundlings Sunday Company alum. Brett continues to write, direct, and produce videos for his YouTube channel Genuine Jerks that has been featured on the Today Show, Good Morning America, Vulture, and the homepages of Reddit and Funny or Die.
