Siobhan Murphy was born and raised in downtown Toronto. She received her

training and degree from York University's elite and competitive Acting Conservatory.  Upon graduating, Siobhan was cast as one of the leads in the W Network original sitcom The Smart Woman Survival Guide. She has since been the lead actress in the CBC’s Men with Brooms (where the cast received a nomination for Best Ensemble from the Canadian Comedy awards) Nickelodeon’s Max and Shred (Nomination for Best Children’s Series by the Canadian Screen Awards) and Netflix’s Merry Happy Whatever.

Aside from her leading roles, Siobhan has appeared on long running series in recurring roles for Danger Force, Pretty Freekin’ Scary, The Bold Type, Murdoch Mysteries, and Rookie Blue. She has guest starred on Modern Family, Schitt’s Creek, Flashpoint, Saving Hope, Degrassi, Orphan Black, and Reign. Siobhan has also appeared on film in Filth City (winner of Best Ensemble at the Canadian Film Festival), Max Payne, Robocop, and the Oscar winning Spotlight. She can next be seen on the latest iteration of the Cross series for Amazon.
