LUCAS O'NEIL
Lucas O’Neil is a writer and stand-up comedian based in Brooklyn, New York. His Featuring set debuted with Comedy Central in 2021. Previously, he was a staff writer for Bleacher Report’s Animated NBA Show, THE PORTAL. He was also named a Caroline’s Breakout Artist in 2019 and an Up Next Comic by Comedy Central in 2018.
Polite radical. Sincere comedian. Self-aware straight white man. Lucas’s comedy takes hold of these contradictions, or at least juggles them for a while. With a delightfully sharp wit and almost concerningly likable demeanor, Lucas eases audiences into a world of personal stories and self-reflection that’s as playful as it is poignant.
Lucas has performed at some of the most prestigious comedy festivals in the country - Moontower, Laughing Skull, Limestone and Bridgetown Comedy Festivals - while opening for national headliners, such as Nick Thune, Phil Hanley and Kevin Nealon. Most recently, Lucas was the opening act for Trey Kennedy’s 68-city “Are Your For Real Tour” in 2021-2022.
